Difference between DELF and DALF?

DELF and DALF are like different paths leading to French fluency. DELF has four levels (A1, A2, B1, B2) that start from beginner to intermediate, covering basic to advanced language skills.

Think of it as a journey from simple conversations to more complex ones. It’s great for those who want to learn French for personal, school, or work reasons.

DALF, on the other hand, is split into two levels (C1 and C2). It’s for those who already have a really strong grip on French. It’s like the next level for super fluent speakers.

It tests not just speaking but also how well you understand complicated stuff, fancy words, and big texts.

So, if you’re just starting or want to brush up on your French, DELF is your go-to. But if you’re already a French pro and want to show off your advanced skills, DALF is the challenge you’re looking for
